The GNU/Linux naming controversy is a conflict over what the operating system commonly called "Linux" should be named. The Free Software Foundation promotes the term "GNU/Linux", while most people simply use the term "Linux" for the whole system. The main argument for GNU/Linux is that the Linux kernel was only the final small part of an otherwise complete system, GNU, written and assembled over many years with the explicit goal of creating an integrated free operating system. On the other hand, Linux is the most widespread name, and most people therefore simply adopt this usage.

The Asian Arowana (Scleropages formosus), also called the Asian Bonytongue, is a species of freshwater bony fish from Southeast Asia. Its four varieties are native to the rivers of Southeast Asia and Indonesia.

The Asian Arowana has a long body; large pectoral fins; dorsal and anal fins located far back on the body; and a much larger caudal fin than that of its relative, the Silver arowana. Its scales are large and usually metallic colored, and it has paired barbels on the end of the lower jaw. It is a mouthbrooder. It is sometimes called Dragon Fish by fish enthusiasts because of its resemblance to the mythical Chinese dragon.

The List of Florida birds lists every wild bird species ever seen in the U.S. state of Florida, as accepted by the Florida Ornithological Society Records Committee (FOSRC). The following markings have been used:

(I) - Introduced: Birds that have been introduced to Florida by the actions of man, either directly or indirectly.
(i) - Introduced/native: Birds that naturally occur in Florida at certain seasons, or only in parts of the state, but also have populations in Florida that have been introduced by the actions of man, either directly or indirectly.
(E) - Extinct.
(e) - Extirpated: A bird that, while it is not extinct, is no longer found in Florida.
(A) - Accidental: Birds that rarely or accidentally occurs in Florida, and for which the FOSRC requests a full report for verification. Birds listed as accidental should not be expected to be found anywhere in Florida with regularity.

The family Anatidae includes the ducks and most duck-like waterfowl, such as geese and swans. These are birds that are modified for an aquatic existence with webbed feet, bills which are flattened to a greater or lesser extent, and feathers that are excellent at shedding water due to special oils. There are 131 species world wide, 61 North American species, and 42 Florida species.
